The Vicenza jewel Museum is the most important museum dedicated to jewel in Italy, set in the exceptional Palladian basilica, UNESCO Heritage and under the constraint of the Superintendency of Artistic and Architectural Heritage.
The collection of the jewel Museum is renewed every two years, a long time compared to the canons of temporary exhibitions and does not have a permanent collection.
The current set -up for temporary exhibitions - of quality, developed by a well -known Milan study - presents formally very characterized exhibitors, placed in the center of the rooms, also partial against panels of the opaque walls, Equipped with an illuminating system.
In anticipation of the next temporary exhibition, A preliminary study of set modernization is required to make the spaces more usable to the visitor and the most flexible environments to the exhibition shifts.
Furthermore, it is required to enhance the contents of the exhibitions more, following current museographic lines, In greater relationship with the museum system of Vicenza.
The new set -up project therefore provides for providing long -lasting equipment over time for future exhibitions of the Vicenza jewel Museum.
